About this item
- 5/8"-11 THREADED HUB: The metal hub is bonded to a reinforced fiberglass backing plate. This flap disc for angle grinder use also serves as a heavy-duty sanding disc for angle grinder applications. It threads directly onto a 4-1/2" spindle and is removed by hand for faster grit changes.
- 50% MORE CLOTH THAN A STANDARD DISC: High density means more flaps packed into the same 4-1/2" face. More cloth is more abrasive, so these flap wheels 4 1/2 inch across run longer between changes and hold their profile deeper into a heavy grinding job.
- ZIRCONIA GRAIN, GRINDING AID: This 40 grit flap disc runs zirconia on X-weight polyester, resin over resin bonded for grain retention. A grinding aid coats the flaps to cut loading and friction heat, which is what dulls a grinder flap disc early on stainless.
- CONTAMINANT-FREE FOR CLEAN STAINLESS: Under 0.1% iron, sulfur & chlorine, so these zirconia flap discs leave no after-rust on stainless steel; worked at a 0-15 degree angle, rated to 13,300 RPM max.

30-day returns.
If it's not quite right, you can request a return within 30 days of delivery, and Flintby will email you return instructions.
